Ir. D. Broeder has been one of the major contributors in creating the archiving structure at the Max-Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (MPI) that houses one of the largest collections of Language Resources. At the MPI he is responsible for the group working on the archiving software and is currently the deputy head of the MPI’s TLA unit. He was the technical leader of the European DAM-LR project that is considered to be the precursor of the technical work in the CLARIN project. He is working in the European CLARIN project at guiding the technical infrastructure and a member of the EB of the Dutch CLARIN project. MPI offers access to a large amount of linguistic data through the Internet.
